LAGE

In Berlin "biste mittendrinne."

Federal capital, pulsing world metropolis, multicultural neighborhood culture, cultural stronghold, memorial of German history - Berlin has many faces. The most populous city in the European Union is complex, honest, ultra-modern, poor but sexy... It is exactly what you are looking for in it.

Today, more than 3.6 million inhabitants from over 170 nationalities made their home in this city steeped in history. And the trend is rising. Berlin has way more to offer than just currywurst, the infamous Berliner Schnauze and the Brandenburg Gate. The metropolis, whose inhabitants John F. Kennedy named himself and all free citizens once, is known for its diverse cultural offerings, its lively art and fashion scene, as well as its lively nightlife - and with more than 2,500 parks, it is greener than one might initially think.

Yet Berlin is always one thing: constantly on the move. Whether a native Berliner, a freelance artist or a financial manager, public transportation takes Berliners around the world a total of 8.7 times every day. Furthermore, an average of 18 people in Berlin change their homes every hour. And more and more of them are moving to the up-and-coming district of Lichtenberg.

The architectural patchwork of Berlin

Lichtenberg is located in the east of Berlin, nestled between Friedrichshain and Marzahn. It is a district as characteristic as its mother city itself - its charm generally only becomes apparent at a second glance. In the 1970s, the first large prefabricated housing estate in East Berlin was built in this area. Until today, they still architecturally characterize the district area of the former workers' quarter - but by far not just alone. Lichtenberg is on the rise, whether among families, nature lovers or young creative minds. Popular Wilhelminian-style neighborhoods such as Victoriastadt or Weitlingkiez, as well as Rummelsburger Bucht, with its direct proximity to the water, have become flagships for the rural and equally urban district. The underdog district is steadily moving up the popularity scale, also due to its many lakes, green parks and allotment gardens.

Ferdinand's Garden is located in the Lichtenberg district of Alt-Hohenschönhausen, in the heart of the district. The district is a symbol for the charm of Lichtenberg and is a colorful mix of different types of housing. The location offers future residents of the residential quarter an excellent infrastructure at all levels.
